but for the analog sound source: this is the best tr909 replacement one can get right now. you can hear the hihats, but if you want to programm one of the other samples it is possible but not really priority on this machine. dr.walker and some others did a special edition with airbase board inside with some individual samples inside. the sampled stuff (hihats and some typical stuff) can only played by ONE instrument at the same time! so this is a monophonic "sampler".
has 3 voice polyphony but you can program every step, so you can get an impression of having 16 different snares or bassdrums! one of the best features on the xbase 09 (german info/deutsche info zur JOMOX Xbase 09 und airbase 99 hier). The drumcomputers and analog sound modules for drumsounds are also very deep and good sounding ones with 16 step (you can have multiple patterns chained up to 96) tr-style sequencer - you can chain some patterns for longer patterns - mine had some problems when you did not start at the first pattern in that chain, but it is better than others. the airbase adds the tr909 toms but has no sequencer of course. all can be recorded as controllers ANY step can contain a complete different set of parameters so it may sound like 16 different BDs or SDs.
#Jomox airbase bcr 2000 plus#
airbase has 808 style of sounds plus cd78 (all sampled) the BD and SD are analog and more open because of 8 BD parameters / 5 SD parameters or 4 for sampling also 3 melody tracks available. The xbase has 3 voices, BD, SD and noise or a sampled 6bit out of 5, in the se_xbase versions it is also 20 like in the airbase, midi and roland DIN sync exept on the airbase or se_xbase versions (sexbase means expanded!), up to 99 steps, chainable, originally 16 steps.
This is basically a clone of the Roland TR808 but with MIDI, all analogue but really as simple about controlling the instrument parameters. sd 199ms lconga 341ms mconga 234ms ltom 455ms mtom 309ms rim 15ms clave 41ms maracas 33ms clap 1964ms cow 1157ms cymbal min 276ms to max 3956ms OH min 144ms max 586ms CH 112msĥ sounds must be switched and can not sound at the same time like d nicht gleichzeitig zu hören: conga or tom (3x). envelope running times: bd (decay =min) 242ms - (max) 1646ms. here's a replacement: -> omron B3F-4000 farnell nr.:176434 für 303 ( B3F-4050 ) F.nr.: 176435 and TR808 env/decay times Roland TR808 laufzeiten der hüllkurven most buttons on 808 and Jupiters do not work perfectly these days. warning!achtung! the 303 buttons needed to be "slightly adjusted". , chase light principle, 4 fill ins, DIN sync - the 808 can be equipped with midi 2 ways: 1) a DIN sync interface is built in, there are lots of din sync to midi converters (doepfer, kenton.) 2)send it in and let kenton add a nice midi interface!
