(EDIT) Apparently you can just find Clash of Clans by searching for apps in Bluestacks, if that doesn't work follow the rest of these steps. I figured maybe someone would be interested in playing CoC on their PC or MAC, for when your phone or tablet is unavailable. 1: Download Bluestacks @ 2: Download Clash of Clans.apk file @ 3: Install Bluestacks 4: Doubleclick on the CoC.apk file that you've downloaded, it will now install the app on Bluestacks. Now that you've done that, you can load up your village (play through the tutorial first, else you won't get the settings button on the right). For Android users: Start CoC and click on settings and then the Google+ button, log in to Google+ and you can simply load up your village (it will ask you 'Do you want to load Chief YourName's Town Hall 8 village?'
'). For iOS (iPhone / iPad) users: you need to create a Google+ account first. Load up CoC, click on settings and then on Google+ Signin, it will now ask you to log in or create an account. Create an account and when that's done you need to log in. Then you go on your iOS device to settings - link a device. It's pretty self-explanatory, you get a code that you fill in on Bluestacks (Go to settings - link a device).
Long story short: You get a code from your iOS device and you fill that in on Bluestacks and it will load up your village. Feel free to share this tutorial to the people who are interested. I can't guarantee that this tutorial is complete, but it should work! If you have any questions just post it on here:) Screenshot: (Sorry my game is in Dutch, you can change it in settings to make it English or any other available language, just as on your iOS or Android device).
Free in-game tip: To zoom in or out hold CTRL on your keyboard and scroll up or down with your mouse, alternatively you can hold CTRL and press the + or - buttons on your keyboard. The rest all works with your mouse. Sometimes Bluestacks will get stuck on the loading screen after the first install, if this happens you simply need to uninstall the program, delete the installer and re-download and re-install it. That seems to fix it. Another fix that seems to work is to run it as administrator (Rightclick the Bluestacks shortcut and click 'Run as administrator'). Obviously you can use Bluestacks for any Android app or game, simply download the.apk file (Just Google the name of the app + apk) I only tested this on PC, but I suppose everything works the same on MAC (Just download the MAC installer on the Bluestacks website). Keep in mind Bluestacks is just a beta program so expect some bugs once in a while.
If Bluestacks doesn't work you can try 'Genymotion', which is a similar Android Emulator, but I haven't tried it myself yet, because Bluestacks works fine for me. (Windows 7 64-bit).
Hey Chief, thank you very much. Downloaded it, and it's running pretty good. I just have one big problem relating to the zoom function. I've searched forums, and read the tutorial in this sub. However, one thing not covered is when I am zooming, most times it locks onto a structure (i.e.
Wall, building) and will move it while I'm zooming in or out. Not that big a deal when on my village, but a huge problem when searching for raid targets. When searching, if I try to zoom in or out (with mouse wheel, arrows, or Ctrl function), then a troop is randomly deployed. Really sucks if I did not intend to attack, or I was still surveying the enemy base. I was wondering if you could advise on this matter. Thanks again.
(x-post of my comment, but it's relevant. If you need me to explain the problem better, then let me know.).
